I made these during football season and they are awesome football food! If I had to guess, they would be equally delicious baseball food. Super easy and I got the idea from pinterest! Seriously, what did people ever do before pinterest!?
For this recipe I was suppose to get the original pillsbury crescent rolls, but there was only garlic butter flavor left. Everything happens for a reason because garlic butter pizza rolls. Way better than not garlic butter pizza rolls. Just saying. Anyway...
What you need:
1 can of Garlic Butter Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
1 pack of pepperoni slices
1 pack of Polly-O Mozzarella String Cheese (They are naturally lactose free! Just check the back!)
A jar of your favorite marinara sauce
You would unwrap and roll these crescent rolls the same way you usually would, except you add half a string cheese stick and about four or five pieces of pepperoni, then roll them up! Just bake them in the oven at 350-375 degrees for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Surprisingly, the mozzarella string cheese melts beautifully and is super ooey gooey when you bite into them! Just dip them in your favorite heated marinara sauce and you have the most delicious and easy comfort food snack.
I have also made these with the original crescent rolls and served them along side a hot bowl of soup. :)
Enjoy!
